Take some time to prioritize yourself in a weekend designed to help you relax and learn tools to better manage the stress in your life. You will be introduced to healthy eating and lifestyle tips that will dramatically increase your energy as well as meditation techniques to settle your mind and bring more clarity and focus to your days. You will have the opportunity to experience an acupressure with essential oil treatment and or acupuncture to help reset your nervous system.

Itinerary

Arrive after 3pm for check-in – enjoy a healthy snack and tea

7pm – 10pm: First Session

We have reserved a table at American Seasons for dinner on Friday at 7pm – it will be an ideal opportunity to connect with each other before the weekend – The restaurant has agreed to provide individual checks, if interested please let us know as you reserve your room. American Season’s has a wonderful seasonal menu, check it out here: www.americanseasons.com After dinner we will go over treatment schedules, and the layout for the weekend.

In this session you will be introduced to the retreat experience, led through the

meditation and tension release practice, and guided to set your own intentions for the weekend to let go of the things that are no longer serving you in your life.

Saturday:

7am – 8am: Meditation
Sitting meditation, tension release exercise
The object of our mediation is the breath. We will practice returning to the breath when the mind starts to wander. We can label our thoughts as thinking and simply return to the sensation of our in and out breath. We will also follow the breath as it moves through the chakras and begin to open up a flow of energy that moves down the front of the body and back up to the top of the head. Each session we will end with the tension release exercise. Tension could include stress, worry, frustration, anger and agitation and tends to accumulate in a band around your abdomen.

8am – 9am: Healthy Breakfast

It is important to start the day off with good nutrition that provides sustained energy. Our breakfasts will include nutrient packed smoothies loaded with organic fruits, veggies, protein and good fats. We will also have grass fed yogurts, avocado, and whole grain bread options.

10am – 12pm: Essential oils for Stress Management

Essential oils can play a significant role in our health and well-being. They carry a very high vibration and can bring profound healing and transformation to our lives. Using the right essential oils in the best way is part science and part intuition. You’ll love the way they make you feel. Acupuncture and essential oils go hand in hand. You will learn and experience specific oil/point combinations that have been time tested to help the body and nervous system not only cope but also thrive under stress.

12:45pm – 7pm: Acupressure and Essential Oils and Acupuncture Treatments

Experience your scheduled session and use this time to rest, eat lunch and dinner at one of the great restaurants on the island, read one of the suggested life enhancing books, journal, take a walk or explore.
